PDE Chapter 164

Bai Xuan leaned against Ye Chu, feeling the scorching heat radiating from his body. His strong, steady heartbeat brought her an unexpected sense of security. Gazing into his deep eyes, she could not help recalling their first meeting.

That time, Ye Chu had saved both her and Yaoyao. Later, because of her father, he had barged into her life. Back then, he was infamous throughout Yao City. At first, she had guarded herself fiercely against him.

But after spending time with him, she gradually sensed something different beneath the endless slander. Bai Xuan had even thought to herself that if Ye Chu truly turned out to be a swindler, she might willingly let herself be deceived.

That idea once made her laugh at herself. She was no longer a young girl, yet she still found her heart easily stirred by his words.

Nestled in Ye Chu’s arms, Bai Xuan looked up at the clear night sky. From the corner of her eye, she glanced at his cheek and impulsively leaned forward to plant a gentle kiss on his forehead.

She felt Ye Chu’s hand moving over her body. His slightly cool fingers slipped beneath her clothes, causing tiny goosebumps to rise across her skin.

The soft touch of her lips against his forehead made Ye Chu turn to look at her. In the dim starlight, his gaze fell on her neck, fair and smooth like congealed jade. Her long, beautiful hair half-concealed her exquisite, captivating face, revealing only the corner of her red lips, utterly enchanting.

Ye Chu could not help tightening his hold on her. He vaguely remembered the moment he had pulled her from the water, the sensation of her long, smooth, pale legs. He also remembered that stunning glimpse of her one night in Yao City.

“Sister Bai Xuan, you have no idea how captivating you are!” Ye Chu said, unable to hold back as he looked at her. “Sometimes I think, if I had let the fear of slander stop me from returning to Yao City, if I had never met you, would I regret it for the rest of my life? Just imagining that possibility feels unbearable.”

Bai Xuan felt her heart tremble fiercely. She knew these words were the kind men used to charm women. Yet she could not help wanting to believe that this was their destined connection. As though Ye Chu had endured endless scorn and returned to Yao City for no other reason than to save her and Yaoyao, to barge into their lives.

The thought moved her deeply. Mist gathered in her eyes. Feeling Ye Chu’s hand slip beneath her trousers and rest on her hip, she unconsciously lifted her body slightly, making it easier for him to reach further.

“Sister Bai Xuan!” Ye Chu suddenly called her name softly.

“Hm?” Bai Xuan’s voice carried a slight tremor. She lifted her head to meet his gaze. His deep eyes shone brightly, filled with an emotion that did not belong to a mere youth.

“Sister Bai Xuan, you are not upset that I sent Yaoyao away just to put pressure on you, are you?”

His voice was low and gentle. His gaze held no trace of the usual heat.

Bai Xuan stared at him. Seeing him suddenly stop his movements, she felt as though her heart had been soaked in warm spring water. Looking into his shining eyes, she raised her head and pressed her red lips against his. In that moment, the entire night seemed to blaze with sudden heat.

Ye Chu gazed at the soft, mature, and alluring woman curled in his arms. At this moment, his heart felt an unprecedented sense of fulfilment. Ever since arriving in this world, Ye Chu had never felt anything so beautiful.

“Sister Bai Xuan,” Ye Chu gently kissed her and spoke softly, “I know you do not like noisy places. I will find you a quiet, beautiful place that feels like a real home.”

Bai Xuan looked into Ye Chu’s serious, deep eyes and smiled gently, shaking her head. “It does not matter where we are. As long as I have you and Yaoyao, I feel content. You do not need to spend too much effort on me. I know you have your own path to follow.”
