TWSBHSW Chapter 239

The black metal corridor was covered in dust.

The earlier laser fire had left only faint marks on the floor.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…”

The Heavy Force Jack slowly but steadily continued lifting the hatch.

At the entrance to the corridor, the Cloud Contact Vine armour rapidly spread across Luo Feng’s entire body, completely covering even his head.

At first glance, he looked like a blood red statue.

“Charge!”

Luo Feng suddenly lunged forward, skimming close to the ground as he rushed inside.

Above him, the Soaring Shuttle instantly transformed into the Heavy Mountain Shield.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Blinding laser beams instantly shot towards both the Heavy Mountain Shield and Luo Feng.

The instant the Heavy Mountain Shield was struck, Luo Feng controlled it to split apart into 365 blades.

The countless blades scattered in every direction, causing the laser corridor’s targeting system to instantly identify multiple targets.

Even more laser beams lit up and fired towards the blades.

Luo Feng himself was also treated to two laser blasts.

Bang!

The impact hurled Luo Feng violently onto the ground.

Then another laser struck from the side, blasting him sideways to the left.

In that instant…

Luo Feng resembled a table tennis ball, being knocked about randomly by the laser blasts.

Even so, he desperately controlled his spirit force, pushing himself forwards.

Forwards.

Forwards.

Whoosh!

Sliding along the ground, Luo Feng shot beneath the hatch raised by the Heavy Force Jack and entered the spacecraft.

“I finally made it inside.”

Luo Feng could feel a dull ache throughout his body.

At the same time, he sensed waves of grievance coming from the Cloud Contact Vine.

After being struck continuously by laser fire, it seemed deeply aggrieved.

Luo Feng smiled.

“Stop pretending. I’ll give you an extra meal later.”

The blood red armour covering him flickered repeatedly, seeming delighted by the promise.

Whoosh!

The Heavy Force Jack beside him suddenly disappeared.

The hatch immediately crashed shut once more, slamming heavily against the metal floor.

“I’ve put the Heavy Force Jack away,” Babata said.

Luo Feng looked around.

He was now standing inside a broad, straight corridor.

“Babata, where do we go now?”

The pitch black passage gave Luo Feng no indication of what dangers might lie ahead.

“Haha, Luo Feng, you’ve already entered the Black Dragon Mountain X81 spacecraft. Relax, there’s no danger now,” Babata said. “Come on, head straight to the command room. Plug the signal transmitter into the spacecraft’s intelligent system interface. Once I’m connected to the ship’s intelligence, I’ll find a way to break through its intelligent defences and take control.”

“Understood.”

Luo Feng nodded.

A small object resembling a laptop memory card suddenly appeared before him.

Luo Feng immediately reached out and grabbed it.

“Just insert the gold coloured end into the interface. Now let’s head to the command room,” Babata instructed.

“Lead the way,” Luo Feng said mentally.

“Left.”

Following Babata’s directions, Luo Feng rapidly advanced through the Black Dragon spacecraft.

The command room of the Black Dragon Mountain X81 spacecraft.

Everything was pitch black.

The instant Luo Feng slipped beneath the hatch and entered the spacecraft…

Ding!

The spacious command room instantly lit up.

A man dressed in military uniform sat calmly in the centre of the room.

Behind him stood three subordinates dressed in black uniforms.

Neither the officer nor the three men moved at all.

Meanwhile, the display screens on the control console illuminated.

“XXXX…”

Lines of Universal Language text appeared across the screens.

Translated, they read…

“Planetary rank human spirit reader detected.”

“Threat assessment, weak.”

“Action authorised…”

“Terminate target.”

Meanwhile, deep within the Black Dragon Mountain X81 spacecraft, lights suddenly came on inside a sealed chamber on the lowest deck.

Standing motionless inside were three metal robots.

Each stood around 2.1 metres tall.

Their bodies were entirely black, while their eyes consisted of red crystal lenses.

Ding!

The instant the spacecraft’s intelligent system transmitted its command, all three pairs of red crystal eyes lit up.

Click. Click. Click.

Energy rapidly surged through their bodies.

The sealed chamber doors automatically opened.

The three robots shot out one after another like streaks of black light.

Travelling rapidly along the lower deck corridor, they soon reached the middle deck.

At that moment, Luo Feng was climbing the stairs from the middle deck to the upper deck.

Luo Feng quickly reached the upper corridor.

“Luo Feng, three metal robots are rapidly approaching from behind,” Babata warned.

Luo Feng’s expression changed dramatically.

He immediately leapt backwards, creating some distance while staring intently at the stairway entrance.

His feet could already feel faint vibrations travelling up from below.

The vibrations came from something sprinting at tremendous speed.

“Babata, didn’t you say there was no danger after entering the spacecraft?”

“This spacecraft has been sunk for over eight hundred thousand years. Yet somehow it’s still maintaining these robots so they’re fully operational. That’s incredible,” Babata exclaimed. “The owner must have left enormous energy reserves in the storage room to keep everything functioning until today.”

Luo Feng had no time to argue.

Because…

The robots had arrived.

Boom!

A streak of black shot up the stairs onto the upper deck.

Luo Feng immediately saw the robot clearly.

Its body was entirely forged from black metal, with glowing red eyes.

Compared to its body, however, its fists looked strangely oversized.

They resembled two massive war hammers.

“Break!”

The Soaring Shuttle before Luo Feng had already transformed into the Mountain Drilling Awl.

The instant the robot charged up, eighteen golden streams of light emerged from the awl.

They rapidly spiralled together around its tip.

Roooar!

Accompanied by a spiralling shockwave and an ear piercing howl, the Mountain Drilling Awl slammed directly into the robot’s chest.

Luo Feng was now a third level Planetary rank spirit reader.

His mastery of the Soaring Shuttle had reached the second stage of the nine levels within the Three Great Realms.

At the same time, all eighteen strands of spirit force drove the attack together.

Even Hong or Thunder God would be injured if struck directly.

Bang!

The metal robot was blasted backwards, crashing into the wall beside the staircase.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The other two robots charged up immediately afterwards.

Boom!

A massive fist arrived before Luo Feng in an instant.

His Mountain Drilling Awl had only just knocked away the first robot and had no time to launch another attack.

“So fast.”

Luo Feng was secretly shocked.

“They’re much faster than my own flying speed.”

At the same time, a strange whip suddenly extended from Luo Feng’s right arm.

It curved through the air before lashing fiercely against the second robot’s head.

Smack!

Even as the robot was struck, its enormous fist still smashed heavily into Luo Feng.

Layers upon layers of vine leaves instantly emerged across the surface of his body.

Whoosh!

Luo Feng was blasted backwards by the punch.

While flying backwards, a cold light flashed through his eyes.

A blood red metal fragment appeared before him.

Its edges were unbelievably sharp.

“Crimson Mixed Copper Mother fragment. Behead it.”

Nineteen tough strands of spirit force instantly wrapped around the blood red fragment like nineteen tentacles.

All nineteen strands erupted with their maximum force.

The fragment’s speed instantly increased dramatically.

Its razor thin edge gave it almost no air resistance.

With propulsion greatly exceeding resistance…

It accelerated continuously.

Whoosh!

The blood red fragment moved at an astonishing speed, slicing directly towards the neck of the third metal robot.

Its goal was to sever the robot’s head completely.

Clang!

A harsh metallic sound rang out.

Sparks erupted from the robot’s neck.

The Crimson Mixed Copper Mother fragment, which had been travelling at incredible speed, was instantly deflected away.

The tremendous impact also sent the robot flying backwards.

However, Luo Feng stared in disbelief.

The robot’s neck bore only a faint scratch.

There was not even the slightest real damage.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The three robots transformed into streaks of black light once again and charged towards him.

Their crimson crystal eyes remained utterly emotionless.

“Babata, what exactly are these things?”

Luo Feng shouted inwardly.

He had already exhausted every means available.

Even his ultimate trump card, the Crimson Mixed Copper Mother fragment, had proven completely ineffective.

According to Luo Feng’s own estimate…

With the Mountain Drilling Awl, he might be able to contend against seventh or eighth level Planetary rank martial artists.

But with the Crimson Mixed Copper Mother fragment, which even Immortal beings found difficult to damage, he should theoretically have a chance of injuring a first level Stellar rank expert.

Of course…

That assumed the opponent stood perfectly still and allowed themselves to be hit.

“Babata, what do we do now?” Luo Feng asked urgently.

“Don’t panic. I’m working on it,” Babata replied.

“Working on it?”

Luo Feng ignored everything else and immediately turned to flee down the corridor.

Unfortunately, he was slower than the three robots.

So…

Two long vines extended from his arms.

Whenever the robots caught up, he lashed them with the vines.

Using this method, he managed to slow them down.

“This is bad. I’ve reached a dead end.”

Luo Feng’s spirit force clearly detected that there was nowhere left to run.

“Hm?”

Luo Feng froze.

His spirit force suddenly sensed that all three robots had stopped.

They simply stood there without moving.

Turning around, Luo Feng saw the three black metal robots standing motionless.

“Luo Feng, I’ve taken control of these three robots,” Babata said.

“Taken control?”

Luo Feng was surprised.

“These metal robots receive commands from the spacecraft’s intelligent system through wireless signals. Since they’re using wireless communication, as long as the encryption isn’t advanced enough, I can crack it. While you were fighting them, I was busy breaking through their security. Just now I completely seized control of all three robots.”

Babata sounded extremely pleased with himself.

“Robots themselves aren’t especially threatening. The real problem is that they’re made entirely from metal. All three are built from Black Yttrium. Trying to destroy them is extremely difficult.”

Black Yttrium.

Even Universe level experts required considerable effort to break through it.

“The advantage of metal robots is that they can be built from extraordinarily durable metals. Their disadvantages, however, are numerous. These three, for example, possess no independent intelligence. That’s why their attacks against you were so simple. If they had higher intelligence and worked together properly, they probably couldn’t kill you because of the Cloud Contact Vine, but capturing you would have been easy enough.”

Babata continued,

“Alright. Let’s head to the command room.”

Luo Feng took a deep breath.

He walked forwards.

Behind him, the three metal robots obediently followed.

Soon, Luo Feng noticed an exquisitely engraved silver door ahead.

“We’ve arrived at the command room,” Babata said.
