The ship itself requires an enormous amount of materials. Most of the alloys manufactured on Earth are completely unsuitable. We can only make use of the wreckage.”
Luo Feng immediately understood.
A spacecraft capable of travelling through space would naturally be extremely heavy and require vast amounts of material.
“Those wreckage materials are worthless. One Mu Ya Crystal can be exchanged for countless materials in the universe,” Babata said dismissively.
“That’s in the universe. Earth is different.”

“Jia Yi, I’ve finished choosing.”
Luo Feng turned the laptop around so the screen faced Jia Yi.
“This is the purchase list.”

Smiling, Jia Yi moved his chair closer to the desk and carefully examined the list. The longer he looked, the more surprised he became.
“Luo Feng, why are you buying spaceship wreckage? This ancient civilisation spacecraft has already broken into several sections, and those sections have been divided among different countries. Even the section we possess has already been partially dismantled. You still want it?”
“Yes.”

That was true.
Every country had some stockpile of ancient civilisation spacecraft wreckage. For example, Hong’s headquarters at the Extreme Dojo was itself a massive interstellar transport ship.
Were these materials valuable?

Were they worthless?
Also yes, because they could neither be cut apart nor put to practical use. Without any way to utilise them, they were little more than scrap.

The wreckage had been sitting there unused for years. It was essentially scrap metal. Exchanging it for two Mu Ya Crystals was a tremendous deal. Originally, he had thought obtaining even one crystal would have been excellent.
“Luo Feng, where should we deliver the materials?” Jia Yi asked.
