“What audacity! Daring to steal from the royal palace!” The King of Yao roared, glaring at the woman in front of him. Although he was momentarily stunned by her stunning beauty, he quickly flew into a rage. “Take her down!”
Pang Shao was standing behind the King of Yao. When he noticed the commotion over here, his heart nearly leapt out of his chest. But he never expected that the one being surrounded and attacked would turn out to be such a ravishing beauty.
“What a pity! If I had known such a beauty was going to get caught, I would rather have let Ye Chu be the one nabbed!” Pang Shao could not help shaking his head and sighing. In his eyes, a beauty was worth far more than Ye Chu!
But Pang Shao soon widened his eyes, because he spotted another figure on the roof. Although the person was dressed in night clothes, Pang Shao knew exactly who it was!
“Ye Chu didn’t manage to escape either?” Pang Shao stared with bulging eyes and cursed without any conscience. “Does that mean I won’t get my bedroom technique manuals after all?”
Su Rong was the king’s adopted daughter. She had come to the palace tonight to see the queen, but the king had dragged her along to keep Pang Shao company. At first she had not paid much attention to the matter of intruders in the palace, but when she saw the expression on Pang Shao’s face, she could not help following his gaze up to the roof.
A figure stood there. Su Rong felt the build looked somewhat familiar, though for the moment she could not recall where she had seen it!
“Grandmasters! Take down this thieving woman!” Seeing that the guards could do nothing against her and were instead being casually knocked to the ground by her, the King of Yao ordered the two grandmasters beside him!
The two grandmasters were Innate Realm experts. Watching the woman effortlessly dispatch a group of guards, they exchanged a glance and suddenly launched their attacks towards her.
Innate Realm cultivators could influence the surrounding spiritual qi with a mere gesture. As soon as their palms struck out, an immense oppressive force erupted. The nearby guards felt their breathing grow difficult.
When Pang Shao saw the two grandmasters make their move, he secretly grew anxious. He knew full well how terrifying the Innate Realm was. His own Holy Maiden was an Innate Realm figure, and she treated him like a little puppy, kicking him whenever she felt like it!

“Get lost!” The woman showed no change in expression as she faced the incoming Protector of the Nation Grandmasters. Her peerlessly beautiful face instead carried a touch of icy detachment. With a push of her fair, jade-like palm, cracking sounds of breaking bones erupted from the arms of the two grandmasters. Both figures were sent flying backwards, crashing heavily onto the ground with a resounding boom.
“Ah…” The grandmasters’ miserable cries left everyone, including the king, utterly shocked and terrified. They stared at the woman in a daze, their souls seeming to leave their bodies.
They could not believe it. Two grand堂堂 grandmasters had been severely injured by a single casual palm from her!
What was the Innate Realm? The strongest cultivators in Yao! In the hearts of everyone present, figures of that level were lofty, invincible existences. Yet the grandmasters they revered as their faith had been gravely wounded by her with effortless ease!

“Do you really think I’m that easy to bully?” Ye Chu shook his head. “Then you’ve picked the wrong person!”
His steps flickered as he moved, his strikes swift and fierce. These guards were no match for him at all. One after another, they were knocked to the ground by Ye Chu.
“Halt!” The palace guard captain blocked Ye Chu’s path. With two thieves, they had to catch at least one. The woman was clearly impossible to capture now, so they would have to settle for the other one.
The guard captain swung his blade viciously down towards Ye Chu. Ye Chu’s figure flashed, dodging the strike. He casually snatched up a long sword dropped by a fallen guard on the ground and met the attack head-on.
“Clang…”
A resounding clash rang out. The guard captain staggered back several steps, his long sword flying from his hand. Blood welled up from the split in his tiger’s mouth.
“Another one this strong!” Many guards stared in horror. Their captain had already stepped into the sixth layer of the Intent Transformation Realm. Yet he had been injured by a single strike from this black-robed figure. The opponent’s strength could not be underestimated. Perhaps not as monstrous as the woman’s, but still outrageously powerful!
“Damn it, when did Yao City produce so many powerhouses!” The guards cursed inwardly!
Ye Chu forced the guard captain back and did not linger to fight. His figure flickered as he chased after the direction the woman had left in. With such a formidable figure clearing the way ahead, he had nothing to fear!
“After him!” The guard captain endured the pain and shouted to his men.
“No need!” The King of Yao’s face was ashen as he called out to the guard captain. “Carry the grandmasters away for treatment!”
The king understood clearly that even if they pursued two people this powerful, it would accomplish nothing! While fury burned in his heart, a trace of fear also crept in. Provoking such terrifying figures would bring no benefit to Yao at all!
“Su Rong! Come with me to see what has been stolen!” The King of Yao’s expression was grim.
Su Rong nodded. Thinking of the black-robed figure from earlier, she could not help glancing at Pang Shao. Feeling her gaze, Pang Shao’s neck suddenly felt cold. “This woman wouldn’t have figured out that this had something to do with me, would she? Did she recognise Ye Chu?”
At that thought, Pang Shao quickly said, “Your Majesty! I still have some matters to attend to, so I will take my leave first!”
“Young Master Pang, please do as you wish!” The king paid him no further mind, merely nodding before leading Su Rong into the imperial study, where they found the place in utter disarray.
“Father, what was lost?” Su Rong asked after helping the king tidy up a little.
“The jade seal and the Red Evil solitary copy!” The king was puzzled himself. He could understand someone wanting the Red Evil solitary copy, but what use was the jade seal to anyone?
“The Red Evil solitary copy?” Su Rong exclaimed in shock. What had been only seven or eight parts suspicion before was now almost certainty. But how could he be so bold…
“What is it?” The king asked in confusion.
“N… nothing!” Su Rong quickly shook her head. Deep down, she still did not want to believe it!

“Why are you following me?” The woman frowned and scolded when she noticed Ye Chu trailing behind her.
She suddenly halted. Ye Chu was very close to her, close enough to catch the faint, alluring fragrance wafting from her body! Her ink-black hair swayed silently and lightly, carrying a soft and delicate grace. Her full lips parted slightly, exuding a seductive redness and sweetness, releasing an extraordinary charm! She was an utterly enchanting fairy-like figure!
“You are leaving the palace, and so am I. This is the most convenient path. How does that count as following you?” Ye Chu smiled. “But there is absolutely no one in Yao City as strong as you. Since we fought side by side today, may I know who you are? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ye Chu!”
The woman’s gaze had been cool and dismissive towards Ye Chu, completely ignoring his words. But when he called himself Ye Chu, a sudden flash of light shot through her eyes. She stared intently at him. “You are Ye Chu? Ye Chu from Qingmi Mountain?”
“How do you know that?” Ye Chu’s heart nearly jumped out of his chest. Even Pang Shao knew nothing about Qingmi Mountain, yet this woman had named it directly. How could Ye Chu not be shocked!
