PDE Chapter 240

Chapter two hundred and forty.

Sword intent surged fiercely like raindrops falling onto the jade stone garment. The jade stone garment which had already been mostly destroyed by Ji Die now cracked open even wider with continuous cracking sounds.

Black Mountain felt terror and wanted to escape. But the sword light enveloped him attacking from all directions. The jade stone garment did not hold out for long before it exploded. As the jade stone garment shattered the radiant light surging on Black Mountain’s body vanished. The jade stone garment turned into powder and fell from his body. Ye Chu’s sword light raged and struck him.

“No…”

Black Mountain roared but in merely an instant his voice stopped abruptly. The sword light tore Black Mountain into pieces with flesh blurred and blood flowing across the entire ground. But then it was invaded by Ye Chu’s fiendish qi and in moments turned into a pile of white bones.

After executing this move Ye Chu’s entire body nearly collapsed to the ground. He quickly sat cross legged on the ground in meditation to dispel the heavy sensation in his body.

With his current strength driving such a peerless sword move even with the help of fiendish qi was extremely taxing. It drained all the power in his body leaving him on the verge of fainting.

Ye Chu sat cross legged there. The black iron in his qi sea vibrated bringing him a bit of clarity which allowed him to persist without fainting.

The radiant light from the black iron shook in his qi sea restoring some strength to Ye Chu. Ye Chu spent a full hour in meditation before he finally felt most of the powerless and exhausted sensation disappear.

Ye Chu opened his eyes and saw Ji Die looking at him with a dazed gaze.

“Are you planning to take advantage of me while I am powerless and push me down?” Ye Chu stared at Ji Die and said.

“No interest!” Ji Die turned her head and looked towards the pile of white bones that had been Black Mountain.

“When I was little my mother told me that women are creatures who say one thing and mean another. They are all liars. I know what you mean right now.” Ye Chu said to Ji Die in a matter of fact tone.

“Sorry what your mother said does not apply to me.” Ji Die remained cold and elegant.

“My mother also said that when a woman keeps denying something it is usually true.” Ye Chu continued.

“It seems your mother really does not understand women!” Ji Die retorted sharply.

“Is that so? Maybe.” Ye Chu shrugged and said “Since you understand women then tell me yourself. Were you not just thinking of pushing me down earlier?”

“…” Ji Die turned her head away and ignored Ye Chu. She thought if she said something like that would it not be like protesting too much? Did he think she was an idiot? Using tricks to fool silly women on her?

“Ji Die!” Ye Chu suddenly called her name very seriously.

Ji Die turned her head to look at Ye Chu puzzled about what he wanted to say.

“Have you ever heard this saying silence equals admission?” Ye Chu said with a straight face.

Ji Die really wanted to spit out the word scram but she held it back forcefully. This guy was too shameless always managing to steer the conversation back to her supposedly wanting to push him down. Who did he think he was?

If she were not powerless right now Ji Die would want to castrate this bastard.

Seeing that the woman did not speak Ye Chu thought that the saying silence equals admission must have come from some ancient sage. It was so true. Ji Die’s current behaviour perfectly illustrated the truth of this saying.

Following Ji Die’s gaze to the white bones there were some items beside them. A few jade bottles some minerals and other good materials. In the outside world these were all worth a fortune.

Ye Chu walked over picked them up and thought that Black Mountain truly lived up to being the king of this area. The few items on him were greatly beneficial to cultivators. The pills in the jade bottles were actually refined with spiritual qi and could assist in cultivation. For Ye Chu at this moment their effect was enormous.

“Good stuff!” Ye Chu clicked his tongue. He thought it was worth the huge price he paid to kill the opponent. Obtaining these things served as some compensation for himself.

Ye Chu sensed the remaining fiendish qi in his body. The amount left could only be used one more time at most. Ye Chu felt that he needed to be careful on the road ahead. Without the support of fiendish qi he could not face great cultivators at all. Even some stronger primordial spirit realm experts could give him a headache.

“Where are you going?” As Ye Chu stepped forward Ji Die suddenly called out to him.

“To Black Mountain’s city!” Ye Chu said to Ji Die. Seeing Ji Die standing there gracefully with her full chest and alluring figure Ye Chu paused for a moment and said “Together?”

That was exactly what Ji Die meant. She was heavily injured now and would need some time to recover fully. If she encountered someone with ill intentions during this period her safety could not be guaranteed.

Although the Ye Chu in front of her acted strangely he had changed a lot compared to three years ago. He no longer had that scumbag aura from before. Plus with the strength Ye Chu had shown Ji Die naturally wanted to travel with him. At least that way the danger would be much less.

But when Ye Chu said it out loud she could not help but feel a flush rise on her cheeks.

Ye Chu was momentarily dazed by Ji Die’s intoxicating blush then nodded and said “Then let us go together. But are you not worried that I will do to you what I did three years ago?”

“If you really dare to do that even in my current heavily injured state I can still take your life. You still cannot.” Ji Die said calmly.

Being told again by Ji Die that he could not Ye Chu felt like going crazy. He gritted his teeth and said viciously “Did I not say not to mention that matter!”

“You were the one who brought it up first!” Ji Die glanced at Ye Chu.

Ye Chu wilted like an eggplant hit by frost. He walked ahead listlessly. In his heart he calculated the success rate if he forced himself on her right now but thinking of Ji Die’s personality he felt that since this woman dared to say such words she probably really had a way to take his life.

In the end Ye Chu gave up the idea. If it succeeded that would be fine. If it failed Ye Chu did not know what face he would have left to see anyone.

By the time the two reached the city it was almost dusk. Along the way Ji Die attracted the gazes of many men. Some men showed greedy looks. But when they saw the bloodstains on Ye Chu and Ji Die those greedy gazes restrained themselves quite a bit.

Although there were some small troubles on the road after Ye Chu struck with thunderous force no one dared to provoke them lightly anymore.

Ji Die followed Ye Chu into the city. Behind them countless infatuated men were left staring. They gazed at Ji Die’s fairy like face lost in her peerless beauty. Some even murmured in admiration “Fairy”.

Walking into the city Ye Chu looked around searching. This made Ji Die unable to help asking “What are you looking for?”

“A mark!” Ye Chu had agreed with Ye Jingyun and Tan Miaotong to leave a mark. He thought that if they were waiting for him they were most likely in this city.

After searching for a while Ye Chu finally saw the agreed mark in an inn. This made Ye Chu breathe a sigh of relief. He thought the two women were safe after all.

“Come!” Ye Chu led Ji Die inside and said “You have an acquaintance in here too. Perfect I can hand you over to her.”

Ye Chu did not want to be alone with Ji Die anymore. He thought handing her over to Ye Jingyun would be ideal. Let Ye Jingyun take Ji Die away while he and Tan Miaotong enjoyed a world for two. How wonderful would that be?

Ji Die was puzzled. She wondered who she knew here. But when Ye Chu led her inside and she heard him ask the inn waiter she was stunned. “How is she here?”
