“Go to hell!” Though the cultivator found the golden doll strange, he could no longer endure it. He swung his broadsword first, chopping towards the golden doll, intent on killing this treasure-draped fat man.
But he regretted it immediately. Before the broadsword could fall, he discovered his entire body could not move. The long blade remained raised high, frozen in that position. The crowd watched in confusion, wondering why the cultivator was not striking yet.
The cultivator soon saw a chubby fist land on his eye. One punch to the left, one to the right. Both eyes swelled up like a panda’s.
“You actually dared to raise a blade against the God of Wealth. It seems today you must pay a heavy price.”
“Sigh! Fortunately, this God of Wealth has always been kind-hearted. For such an offence, a small punishment will suffice! Use your wealth to help the poor people of the world. This is your atonement!”
“Do not thank me. After all, I am a God of Wealth with a sense of responsibility, full of truth, goodness, beauty, and immense riches!”
The golden doll stripped every last coin, jewel, and treasure from the cultivator’s body. Only then did he deliver a single punch to the cultivator’s forehead, knocking him unconscious.
Three cultivators in a row had been strangely subdued and robbed by the golden doll. The other cultivators saw his gaze turn towards them and felt their scalps tingle. They dared not meet his eyes.
The golden doll seemed to lose interest in robbing these people. His gaze fell on Shangguan Minda. Light flickered in his eyes.
“Oh! You are perfect to become this God of Wealth’s Wealth-Accumulating Boy!” The golden doll walked straight up to Shangguan Minda, smiling brightly as he looked at him.
“Go to hell with your Wealth-Accumulating Boy!” Shangguan Minda was an arrogant and untamed character. Seeing the golden doll’s gaze turn to him, he roared furiously, raised his weapon, and swung to kill the golden doll.
The golden doll sighed deeply, his voice profound and enlightened. “All people in the world are burdened with deep sin. They are given chances to atone yet refuse to cherish them, continuing to commit evil and become demons. Very well. This God of Wealth will help them.”
Facing the incoming blade, the golden doll extended his plump hand. With a flick of his finger, a single gold bead flew out. It struck the broadsword. Instantly the blade flew from Shangguan Minda’s hand and was sent flying. Shangguan Minda’s tiger mouth throbbed with intense pain.
Watching the golden doll approach Shangguan Minda with a bright smile, the great cultivator following him quickly stepped in front. He looked coldly at the golden doll.
“Kill him!” Shangguan Minda clutched his hand, glaring at the golden doll as he shouted to the great cultivator beside him.
The great cultivator nodded. He brandished the weapon in his hand and struck straight towards the golden doll. The attack was domineering and terrifying. As vast power surged, it carried the might of sun, moon, and stars, extremely shocking.
The great cultivator’s strength was laid bare, leaving every cultivator speechless. The oppressive atmosphere caused by the golden doll finally eased a little. They thought: This seemingly soft and tender fat man, no matter how strange and powerful, surely cannot do anything to a great cultivator.
But the result chilled their spines. Another gold bead flew out. The bead moved neither quickly nor with great force. It simply landed on the great cultivator’s weapon.
Yet the weapon was pierced straight through by this single gold bead. The bead continued forward at undiminished speed towards the great cultivator. He was horrified. All his power erupted in an attempt to block the bead.
But everything he did was in vain. The full might of a great cultivator, the power that shook and envied everyone present, was like paper before this gold bead. It was easily pierced through. The bead embedded itself into the great cultivator’s arm. The arm, tempered to extreme toughness, exploded instantly. Blood sprayed outward.
“Ah…”
A miserable scream echoed through every corner of the area. Everyone stared in stunned silence at the great cultivator who had fainted on the spot.
Looking at the golden doll, who still wore that bright, innocent, harmless smile, every cultivator present felt their scalps go numb. A chill rose from the soles of their feet.
That was a great cultivator! An existence countless people could only look up to in their entire lives. Yet in this fat man’s hands, he could not even withstand a single strike. Just how powerful was this fat man?
“Where did this lunatic come from?” Everyone’s backs were drenched in cold sweat. They watched as the golden doll searched Shangguan Minda’s body, looting every valuable item he carried. Then, under everyone’s gaze, he stuffed it all into his own bosom.

The golden doll seemed to have had his fill of fun. He patted his now heavy bosom and smiled as he walked towards Ye Chu’s direction.
Seeing him approach, Ye Chu turned to Pang Shao. “Do you have any gold on you?”
Pang Shao nodded, shrinking back in fear. “He won’t come for me too…”
“Do you think he’ll spare you?” Ye Chu rolled his eyes.
Pang Shao’s expression changed drastically. Having witnessed the golden doll’s terror, he knew full well that being targeted by him would be disastrous.
“Give me all your gold. I’ll take this sin for you!” Ye Chu said, looking at Pang Shao.
Pang Shao looked at Ye Chu suspiciously. He thought: Since when is Ye Chu this kind?
“Give it or not, it’s up to you. Though I don’t like you, I also don’t want you to be crippled over this.” Ye Chu said to Pang Shao. “After all, I know him. He won’t make things too difficult for me.”
Hearing this, Pang Shao hurriedly handed over all his gold and silver to Ye Chu. The fat lunatic in front of him was too strange and frightening. He wanted nothing to do with him.
Ye Chu took the heavy bag of gold and silver from Pang Shao. He could not help muttering under his breath, thinking this guy carried so much gold and silver on him without even feeling burdened.
Soon, the golden doll noticed this scene. Pang Shao saw the golden doll staring at the gold and silver in Ye Chu’s hand. He patted Ye Chu’s shoulder gratefully. “Good brother!”
Ye Chu gave a sly smile and tucked the gold and silver into his own bosom. “Helping a friend through thick and thin is my motto.”
Thus, Pang Shao witnessed a scene that made him regret it deeply and want to curse out loud. The golden doll glanced at the bag in Ye Chu’s hand, then directly turned his gaze elsewhere. He had no intention of robbing Ye Chu at all.
“Ye Chu…” Pang Shao stared fixedly at Ye Chu, wanting to take back his gold and silver. “Didn’t you say he would rob us?”

The empire’s prince saw the golden doll turn his gaze towards him. His heart skipped a beat. But with a heaven and earth artifact in hand, he was not afraid of this seemingly abnormal madman.
“If Your Excellency wants a share, please remember to respect the order of arrival!” The empire’s prince said, staring at the golden doll.
“A share? Order of arrival?” The golden doll suddenly felt like laughing. “You want the God of Wealth to respect order of arrival?”
The empire’s prince looked coldly at the golden doll without speaking.
Just when everyone thought the golden doll would restrain himself due to the prestige of the heaven and earth artifact, a thunderous roar of fury erupted. “Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to this God of Wealth like that?”
The merciless rebuke made everyone widen their eyes and stare at the golden doll. This person was far too arrogant!
