“Look, Silver Guards. Two Silver Guards working together managed to stop that monster.”
“There are actually Silver Guards on Earth?”
“As expected of a planet once ruled by an invincible expert.”
The crew members were visibly excited.
Many of the valuable items revealed in the videos had sent a clear message.
After the death of that invincible expert, numerous treasures had been left behind on Earth.
After all, that was an existence so powerful that even the Silverblue Empire dared not oppose him, and even the Black Dragon Mountain Empire preferred not to provoke him.
“Atuka!”
The captain’s eyes turned red with excitement.
“Is that monster alive or dead?”
“According to Earth’s records, Luo Feng, Mohandersen, East, Tripathi Singh, Jia Yi, and Sokolov, six of Earth’s Eight Heroes, sacrificed themselves to use a special spiritual power technique. They ultimately killed the Devouring Beast and saved humanity.”
Atuka immediately reported the information gathered from the internet.
“Damn it!”
The captain could not help roaring in anger.
“Damn it, damn it, go to hell!”
He cursed furiously.
The eight crew members were bewildered.
Today should have been a day of celebration.
Why was the captain so furious?
“How could it die?”
The captain was filled with rage.
A Golden Horned Beast was destined to become a peak World Lord level existence.
Because of its natural gifts, once a Golden Horned Beast reached Ninth Level World Lord, it was virtually invincible beneath the Immortal level.
A mature Golden Horned Beast was incredibly difficult to deal with and even harder to capture alive.
But a Golden Horned Beast cub at only First Level Stellar Stage was a completely different matter.
Cosmic adventurers had many methods of capturing such a creature alive.
It was only at First Level Stellar Stage.
A sufficiently skilled illusionist spirit reader could easily tame it.
The rarity and cautious nature of Golden Horned Beasts meant that encountering a young one was unbelievably difficult.
Virtually any Immortal or World Lord would be willing to pay an astronomical price for a Golden Horned Beast cub.
“A fortune beyond imagination.”
“The value of a Golden Horned Beast cub is beyond anything I can comprehend.”
The captain was overwhelmed with regret.
Why had he not arrived earlier?
These Earthlings had wasted a priceless treasure.
They had actually killed a cub possessing one of the most supreme bloodlines in the universe.
If he had obtained it and handled things carefully, he would certainly have become a true member of the universe’s upper class.
The value of a Golden Horned Beast cub might well exceed that of the entire Nolan Mountain Family.
After all, it represented a future peak World Lord.
“Damn it. Damn it.”
The captain hated the situation with all his heart.
“The corpse.”
“Yes, the corpse.”
His eyes suddenly lit up.
“The corpse of an Immortal is extremely valuable. The corpse of a Golden Horned Beast cub is equally precious. It may not be worth as much as a living one, but it is certainly worth more than an entire planet.”
There were many powerful organisations throughout the universe willing to pay enormous sums for a Golden Horned Beast corpse for research and dissection.
“Atuka, where is the monster’s corpse?”
The captain shouted.
The eight crew members were confused.
“Captain.”
Atuka immediately replied.
“After the Devouring Beast was killed, humanity sent Planetary Stage warriors into the ocean to retrieve it. However, countless monsters gathered around the area, preventing recovery of the body. To this day, the location of the Devouring Beast’s corpse remains unknown.”
“Three years.”
The captain quickly calculated.
“A Golden Horned Beast can devour and possesses an internal world. When it died, the energy released during the collapse of its internal world would have sustained the body. I doubt the corpse has decayed much after only three years.”
“The scales of a Golden Horned Beast are incredibly durable. Even after death, ordinary monsters should not have been able to consume it.”
The captain became extremely tense.
At this moment, the Golden Horned Beast’s corpse was undoubtedly the treasure he coveted most on the entire planet.
The adventurer spacecraft continued hovering above the Atlantic Ocean while gathering more and more information from Earth.
As time passed, the collected records became increasingly complete.
11:42 a.m., Huaxia Time.
“Captain, data collection is complete.”
Atuka reported.
“The planet’s technology and military capabilities remain in the early stages of space civilisation. It is still far behind true cosmic civilisation. In terms of military strength, this planet has no ability to resist our adventurer team. The only notable factor is that the planet possesses numerous valuable items, including Muya Crystals, Black God Suits, Cloud Contact Vines, spirit weapons, and spatial rings.”
Atuka quickly summarised the findings.
During the battle on Mist Island years ago, Hong had used the Cloud Contact Vine while fighting the Beast Emperor.
Although the footage had originally been confidential, too many people had witnessed it.
Fragments of information could still be found hidden within Earth’s networks.
The same applied to the frantic search for Muya Crystals back then.
As for Black God Suits, spirit weapons, and spatial rings, those were even easier to identify.
The captain and crew became excited once more.
“Cloud Contact Vine?”
“If a Cloud Contact Vine seed can be successfully cultivated into a seedling, each seedling is worth over a hundred billion Black Dragon Coins.”
“That’s not surprising. If properly nurtured, a Cloud Contact Vine can almost certainly reach the Universe Level. Of course it’s valuable.”
Cloud Contact Vine seeds themselves were not particularly expensive.
The difficulty lay in successfully cultivating them into seedlings.
Once a seedling existed, raising it to Universe Level was relatively easy.
For example, feeding it sufficient Muya Crystals would achieve that result.
The value of a Universe Level combatant was obvious.
Although cultivation costs were enormous, Cloud Contact Vine seedlings remained incredibly expensive.
“Muya Crystals? The supreme nourishment used for raising beasts and plant lifeforms? Even Domain Lords, World Lords, and Immortals purchase those.”
“Muya Crystals have countless uses. They’re suitable for humans, monsters, plant lifeforms, and many other forms of life.”
“There are actually Muya Crystals on Earth.”
Everyone aboard the ship was thrilled.
“Captain, we’ve also discovered a special liquid called Evolution Dew by the Earthlings. Analysis indicates that it is actually Purple Light Dew.”
Atuka continued.
“Based on available information, the quantity of Purple Light Dew on Earth appears substantial, perhaps several hundred tonnes.”
Atuka had estimated this figure based on the current number of advanced trainees on Earth.
“Purple Light Dew?”
The captain looked mildly surprised.
“That invincible expert truly left Earth a considerable legacy.”
Compared with treasures like the Cloud Contact Vine, the Arc Blade Disc, or the Golden Horned Beast corpse, several hundred tonnes of Purple Light Dew meant very little.
Some planets produced Purple Light Dew by the thousands or tens of thousands of tonnes.
Several hundred tonnes was not enough to impress the captain greatly.
Inside the control room.
The captain and his crew began discussing how to extract the maximum profit from Earth.
“Without question, the most valuable assets here are the treasures left behind by that invincible expert.”
The green skinned woman spoke excitedly.
“That was an existence capable of physically entering the Dark Universe and concealing planetary coordinates. If we can obtain the treasure he left behind…”
“You’re dreaming.”
The gorilla like man shook his head.
“Leaving aside whether that invincible expert actually died on this planet, there’s one thing we know for certain. If we obtain treasures belonging to someone of that level, there’s a ninety nine percent chance we’ll lose our lives.”
The crew members continued debating.
The captain frowned while considering their next move.
“We’ll proceed according to Plan Three.”
His voice suddenly broke the discussion.
“Captain?”
The crew looked towards him.
“Captain!”
Atuka suddenly called out.
“We’ve received a communication request from the family fleet.”
The captain’s expression changed slightly.
“You stay here. We’ll discuss operations later. I’ll deal with those arrogant fools first.”
He immediately left the control room and entered his private quarters.
…
Inside the captain’s lounge.
The tall and handsome captain sat down and closed his eyes.
“Connect to the Virtual Universe Network.”
Normally, intelligent computers maintained a partial connection to the Virtual Universe, allowing users to receive messages.
However, sending messages or holding conversations required one’s consciousness to enter the network directly.
Virtual Universe.
Black Dragon Mountain Island under Qianwu Continent.
Within an ordinary traditional courtyard residence, the captain suddenly appeared.
A fist sized fairy like companion sat upon his shoulder.
The residence was his personal property within the Virtual Universe.
Without property ownership, like Luo Feng, one would simply appear on the streets.
With property ownership came many additional functions.
Inside the living room.
Beep.
A communication request appeared on the wall display.
“Hmph. Now they know how to come begging.”
The captain sneered at the screen.
“Accept.”
The display flickered.
Eight figures appeared standing on the screen.
Three of them had pointed ears and glowing red eyes, similar to the captain himself.
The other five possessed distinctly different appearances, clearly belonging to other races.
“Oh? Eight direct disciples meeting with me at once?”
The captain raised an eyebrow.
“Brol.”
The handsome young man standing at the front spoke coldly.
His pointed ears resembled the captain’s.
“You’ve already reached that life bearing planet, haven’t you?”
“So what if I have?”
The captain sneered.
“Prala, I’ve already made my terms clear. Let me remind you. Discovering the wormhole was my achievement. Reaching the planet was primarily my achievement. This planet is mine to give to whoever I choose.”
“Hmph.”
One of the eight, a large dark skinned man, snorted.
“What are you snorting about?”
The captain glared.
“Kromi, even if you’ve reached Ninth Level Stellar Stage and become a direct disciple, you’re still an outsider. I am a direct descendant of the Nolan Mountain Family.”
Within the Nolan Mountain Family, many outsiders were accepted into the family.
Only those who reached Ninth Level Stellar Stage could become direct disciples and obtain special status.
“Brol, we’re not here to negotiate.”
The leading youth spoke coldly.
“We’re here to inform you. After hearing about the Void Region, the old patriarch personally issued an order. He’s extremely interested in the planet once ruled by that invincible expert. Therefore, the planet must belong to the family. There can be no mistakes. Otherwise…”
“Otherwise my foot.”
The captain’s eyes widened.
“Eight direct disciples, and supposedly over thirty Nolan Guards too? More than forty Ninth Level Stellar Stage experts altogether. How terrifying. Killing me would be as easy as crushing an ant. I’m so frightened.”
He deliberately trembled in mock fear.
Then suddenly roared.
“Get lost!”
“If you’ve got the guts, come kill me. Come on. Do it!”
The eight direct disciples turned pale with anger.
“Hmph. A bunch of rubbish.”
The captain sneered.
“Understand the situation. I’m not the poor nobody I used to be. The family needs me now. So show some respect. Alright, I’ve had enough of looking at your faces. We’ll discuss the planet again tomorrow.”
Smack.
The communication ended.
