Domain paths are an extremely special existence, containing strange energy within them, particularly spatial power that constantly seeps out. It is precisely because of this that domain paths most easily give birth to spatial artifacts.
Capable beings moved mountains and opened lakes, and domain paths gradually became separate worlds of their own. With generation after generation of cultivators opening them up, nearly every domain path contained a small world-like existence.
And the one before Ye Chu was exactly such a place. However, it was precisely the special nature of domain paths that attracted many cultivators to fiercely seize territory here. Although the small world within this domain path was small, conflict had never ceased.
Of course, if one did not fight others for resources, conflicts rarely arose. Ye Chu naturally had no intention of competing with others for resources here. At this moment, he only wanted to cross this realm and enter the Red Dust Domain, then find a suitable place to settle Tan Miaotong and the others.
The Red Dust Domain was not like the Sentiment Domain. The Sentiment Domain was the territory of the Tan family’s Unfallen Mountain. But in the Red Dust Domain, their hands would find it much harder to stretch so far.
“Let’s go!” Ye Chu said to the group, stepping into this small world. The spiritual energy was dense within, the Dao flourishing, making one’s mind peaceful and calm. It had an extremely divine effect on one’s comprehension and cultivation of artistic conception.
Clearly, this place had been opened up by numerous powerful beings who mobilised the power of heaven and earth, allowing the Dao of heaven and earth to manifest here and making cultivation easier for the people of the world.
“What a wonderful place. Such places are hard to find in the Sentiment Domain!” Ye Jingyun said to Ye Chu, unable to help sighing. She thought that if she had always cultivated in such an environment, her strength would have increased several times over.
“This doesn’t even count as a true blessed land. When you enter the Red Dust Domain, you will know how many blessed lands exist within it. Some might allow your strength to skyrocket the moment you enter,” Ye Chu said with a smile. He had heard all this from the mouths of people like Shui Gu. “Compared to great domains like the Red Dust Domain, the gap with the Sentiment Domain is enormous.”
Ye Jingyun nodded. This place was naturally not the best location in the Red Dust Domain, or it would have been seized long ago. When the great clans of the Red Dust Domain fought over things, they could even pierce through domain paths. How could the domain path gate still exist stably here?
They travelled all the way, and in this small world Ye Chu and the others behaved themselves. Even when they saw some good things, they did not make a move to seize them. This caused Ye Jingyun to look at Ye Chu in surprise, thinking about what kind of temperament Ye Chu had. He was a scoundrel who took “not taking advantage when there is benefit is a bastard” as his motto. Previously, a King-level expert had dug out a spatial artifact somewhere, yet Ye Chu had actually pretended not to see. This was simply unbelievable to Ye Jingyun.
“Ye Chu, are you ill?” Ye Jingyun gently touched Ye Chu’s forehead with her finger. When had this fellow become so moderate and peaceful?
“Go away!” Ye Chu glared at Ye Jingyun, gripping Tan Miaotong’s hand tightly. Tan Miaotong’s hand was very soft, making Ye Chu very comfortable to hold.
Ye Chu naturally did not want to create complications at this time. Besides, with Ye Chu’s current vision, he was not about to rob someone for a mere spatial artifact. Although Ye Chu’s moral integrity was already in short supply, he did not like doing such despicable things as robbing others without cause.
They crossed more than half of this world’s journey, and the way had been fairly peaceful. The group arrived beside a vast lake. Tan Miaotong happily ran to the lakeside, reaching out to wash away the dust of travel. A joyful smile bloomed on her beautiful face, and Ye Chu’s heart was affected too, the weariness of the journey swept away.
They all washed the dust from their bodies. Ye Jingyun even looked like she was about to drive Ye Chu away, preparing to bathe in the water.
At this, Ye Chu merely curled his lips in disdain and said, “It’s not like I haven’t seen it before, and it’s not that much to look at. Is it really necessary to drive me away?”
Ye Jingyun looked at Ye Chu with a smile. “I believe you will give us the chance to bathe, won’t you?”
Just as Ye Chu was about to say something, his gaze fell upon the lake before him. Looking at the lake as calm as a mirror, Ye Chu’s eyes twitched. He suddenly grabbed Tan Miaotong, wrapped his arm around her waist, and his figure rapidly shot backwards.
“Retreat quickly!” Ye Chu shouted.
Ye Jingyun had originally thought Ye Chu wanted to take advantage of Tan Miaotong, but immediately her expression changed too, her figure rapidly retreating.
Behind them, a huge vortex suddenly appeared in the lake. The vortex emerged and directly exploded, the blast of water surging out in all directions like a heavy rain, and even though Ye Chu and the others had already retreated some distance, they were still drenched by the rain falling from the sky.
The girls were already wearing thin clothing, and with their garments soaked, the thin fabric clung tightly to their bodies. Their snowy skin could be seen clearly, and the traces of their undergarments were completely exposed. The three women were curvaceous and alluring, leaving Ye Chu dumbstruck!
“Close your eyes!” Ye Jingyun viciously jabbed her finger towards Ye Chu. Ye Chu reached out and caught Ye Jingyun’s hand, struggling to shift his gaze from their delicate bodies to the lake. At the centre of the lake, following the explosion of the vortex, a figure walked out from the water. When Ye Chu saw this figure, he stood frozen on the spot.
Stepping out from the lake’s heart was a woman. She possessed immortal bones and jade-like posture, stunning enough to astonish the world, like a goddess descending upon the mortal realm. Her black hair and beautiful eyebrows hung down like a waterfall, radiant enough to outshine others. Her oval face was crystal clear and lustrous, even more white and transparent than mutton-fat jade. Her eyes were clear and lively, her figure slender and long. Every inch of her skin was crystal clear and snowy white. She wore a white long dress, her curves graceful and enchanting. Standing there, she seemed untouched by a single speck of mortal dust from the mundane world, like an immortal who did not eat the food of mortals. Standing there, heaven and earth became her backdrop, and all things lost their lustre.
“So beautiful!” Tan Miaotong could not help murmuring, gazing at the woman in the snow-white dress floating in the wind, her entire body flowing with light and colour. She felt somewhat entranced.
Ye Jingyun similarly stood there in a daze. She had perhaps never seen such an otherworldly figure before.
“Why is it her?” Ye Chu was also stunned, staring blankly at the slender, beautiful woman before him. Looking at the curves she outlined, from which not a single flaw could be found, Ye Chu could hardly believe he would encounter her here.
She was none other than Lin Shixin.
Back then, he had seen her from afar at the Heavenly Cloud Pavilion, and afterwards she had vanished in the blink of an eye. But he had never expected to actually encounter her here.
Ye Chu looked at Lin Shixin with complicated eyes, his heart not at peace either. When Ye Jingyun saw Ye Chu like this, she felt puzzled, wondering if Ye Chu actually knew this woman.
“Who is she?” Ye Jingyun asked.
“Lin Shixin!” Ye Chu let out a light breath.
“Chi…” The corner of Ye Jingyun’s mouth twitched. Although she had never seen Lin Shixin, she had heard of her. She was one of the two women that Ye Chu had attempted to assault back then.
