Ye Chu shook his head. “I did not know her before. She is not from the mountain either.”
Qing Wenting grew even more surprised. Recalling Ruoshui’s bearing, she could not help marvelling at her beauty and strength. “Truly a goddess of the world!”
“I will not return to the imperial capital with you either. Though my status is special, having obtained the general’s Primordial Spirit True Source, do you think others will not be blinded by greed and take desperate risks?” Qing Wenting said. “I must return to my sect. Ye Chu understood the allure of the general’s Primordial Spirit True Source. Qing Wenting’s concern was not unfounded. He nodded. “I will also return to the mountain in a while.”
