TWSBHSW Chapter 156

In the Jiangnan Pavilion of the elite training camp in Hongning Base City.

Early morning, the sky was still dim as Luo Feng stood on the balcony facing east.

“A few days ago I was still in the wilderness of the Australian continent, being hunted by Li Yao. Now I am here alone, waiting calmly for the Hall Master’s summons,” Luo Feng said with a faint smile. Last night, after returning with Inspector Liu, he had been arranged to stay back at the training camp.

All other trainees were out on life and death missions, leaving Luo Feng as the only official student in the entire camp.

What he was waiting for now was Hong’s summons, and the massive reward that would follow.

This time, the Extreme Limit Martial Arts Hall had gained an astonishing harvest on Mist Island. Even Liu, who only received 5 percent, was already extremely excited. It was easy to imagine how huge Luo Feng’s share would be.

He looked toward the east.

The horizon was glowing red. The sun had not yet risen, but rays of light pierced through the clouds, beautiful enough to stir the heart.

“I originally thought I would stay here for two or three years, maybe even longer,” Luo Feng said, brushing his hand over the balcony railing. “Looks like I will be leaving.”

Evening.

Two men and women in black uniforms arrived quickly outside the Jiangnan Pavilion courtyard.

Knock, knock, knock.

“Who is it?” Luo Feng walked out and opened the gate.

Outside stood a man and woman in black uniforms, both around thirty years old with sharp eyes. The slightly shorter woman with short hair smiled and said, “Luo Feng student, the Hall Master summons you. Please come with us.”

The man beside her looked at Luo Feng with curiosity.

A personal summons from the Hall Master was extremely rare.

“Hall Master?” Luo Feng felt a surge of joy. So fast. He had only returned for a day, and the Hall Master was already calling him. It seemed the reward distribution was about to begin.

“Alright, let’s go,” Luo Feng nodded.

They quickly arrived at the main gate of the training camp, where a black luxury extended car was waiting, over six metres long.

“Luo Feng student, please get in,” the black uniformed woman said, opening the door.

Inside, the car felt like a spacecraft cabin, extremely comfortable and luxurious.

The vehicle moved smoothly with almost no vibration.

Twenty minutes later.

Screech.

“We have arrived at headquarters,” the woman said.

Luo Feng stepped out and immediately drew a sharp breath.

In front of him stood a gigantic ship shaped building, over ten thousand metres long and about one hundred metres high. It had a massive gate dozens of metres wide. Around it were heavily armed military forces, creating a strict and imposing atmosphere.

“This is the real headquarters of the Extreme Limit Martial Arts Hall?” Luo Feng stared in shock.

A blue light scanned over him.

Beep.

“Luo Feng student, please enter,” a mechanical voice said.

The black uniformed woman added, “Only a very small number of high level personnel are allowed inside. Any unauthorised entry will be eliminated by the defence system.”

Luo Feng nodded and walked forward.

The passage was silver white.

It really feels like a spaceship, Luo Feng thought. A ship over ten thousand metres long. I have never heard of anything like this.

Inside, two men and women in blue robes smiled and greeted him.

“Luo Feng student, please follow us.”

Almost everyone inside the headquarters wore blue robes, with only a few in red robes.

“This is the rest hall. Please wait here. The Hall Master will summon you shortly,” said a blue robed blonde woman before leaving.

There were already two people in the room.

“Greetings, Inspector Liu,” Luo Feng bowed slightly. “Mr Ice Mountain.”

“Haha, Luo Feng, sit,” Liu said with a smile.

Ice Mountain remained silent, cold as ever.

“The Hall Master has returned from Mist Island and immediately summoned the three of us. It should be about the distribution of the harvest,” Liu said with a smile. “Your gain this time is not small.”

“It was just luck. I just happened to discover Mist Island,” Luo Feng replied.

“Luck is also part of strength,” Liu said.

Ice Mountain remained silent.

Suddenly.

“Ice Mountain, the Hall Master summons you,” a voice rang out.

A red robed black man stood at the door.

“It has begun,” Liu said.

Ice Mountain stood up and followed him out.

“He made a huge profit this time,” Liu sighed. “Luo Feng, your reward will likely not be small either. The Hall Master will probably give you the chance to exchange for treasures. Make sure you choose carefully.”

“Exchange treasures?” Luo Feng was startled.

“Yes,” Liu nodded. “With so many plant origin spirits this time, you will likely be given some directly. But it is better to exchange for what you truly need. The Hall Master has many rare treasures that cannot be bought with money.”

Luo Feng’s eyes lit up.

After a while.

“Inspector Liu, the Hall Master summons you,” the red robed man returned.

“I will go first,” Liu said with a smile, then left.

The room was left with only Luo Feng.

Ten minutes later.

“Luo Feng, the Hall Master summons you,” the red robed man appeared again.

“Finally my turn,” Luo Feng took a deep breath and stood up.

He followed the man through the corridor and arrived at a quiet room. The red robed man left.

“Come in,” a cold voice sounded.

It was the Hall Master.

Inside the room was dark and empty, with only two cushions.

A black haired man sat cross legged on one cushion and pointed at the opposite one.

“Sit.”

“Yes,” Luo Feng sat down.

In front of this man, an invisible pressure made one instinctively lower their head, like an ant facing a dragon.

The black haired man looked at him with a trace of warmth.

“This time, discovering and reporting Mist Island is a major contribution. That alone gives you 10 percent of the total plant origin spirits. During the operation, you also contributed and receive another 5 percent, so in total, you get 15 percent.”

Fifteen percent.

Luo Feng thought silently.

Out of 95 plant origin spirits, 15 percent was an unimaginable fortune.

Even a Millennium Willow Heart alone was worth far more than Dragon Blood.

Hong waved his hand.

A three dimensional projection appeared.

Twelve plant origin spirits were displayed.

“These twelve items together equal about 15 percent of the total value,” Hong said calmly. “They are yours.”

Twelve items.

Only one was familiar, a Millennium Willow Heart. The other eleven were unknown to Luo Feng.

Each item displayed detailed explanations.

Some could strengthen the body, some could cure poisons, some could even increase physical strength six to ten times, limited to high level God of War peak.

Luo Feng could not help but feel tempted.

But he was also curious.

“How do you know the effects of these plant origin spirits so clearly?” Luo Feng asked.

Hong smiled faintly.

“Names are just names. I am Chinese, so I give them names that are easy to remember. From the Great Nirvana period until now, how long has it been? How long have I lived? Things like thousand year or ten thousand year are just exaggerated terms.”

Luo Feng nodded.

“For someone at your level, plant origin spirits do not have much effect anymore,” Hong said. “So I will give you a chance. A chance to exchange them for the treasures you truly need.”
