PDE Chapter 514

Chapter 514

“Do not assume that having a bit of strength allows you to dominate the Path of Heavenly Prodigies! I advise you to temper your sharpness. If I were you, I would learn to keep a low profile… Ah…”

His words were barely half spoken when a sword beam shot from Ye Chu, piercing directly into the young man’s throat. A bloody hole appeared, blood bloomed out, and the young man, face twisted in terror, fell straight from his horse to the ground.

“Along the way, countless people have threatened this young master. Yet who among them could do anything to me? What sort of creature are you to dare shout at me!” Ye Chu glared at the corpse, snorting angrily, his lips curling in disdain.

“Young master!” The other cultivators stared at the lifeless young man, their eyes burning with rage as they fixed on Ye Chu.

Ye Chu said nothing. His fingers moved, and sword beams shot out one after another. These people did not even have a chance to resist before being struck dead.

Ye Chu attacked continuously. In a short span, over a dozen cultivators lay dead before him. The scene terrified the onlookers, who watched Ye Chu with a mixture of awe and dread.

“Ruthless indeed, living up to his title!”

Everyone sighed in their hearts. Taking lives with a mere gesture, such ruthlessness chilled them to the bone.

The remaining few cultivators were already terrified out of their wits, their bodies trembling as they sat on their horses, faces pale with fear.

“Go back and tell the old fogies in your families. If they want the Holy Liquid, let them come if they have the guts.” Ye Chu snorted, ignoring the corpses littering the ground. He stepped forward, his posture upright and graceful, drawing every eye.

However, the words Ye Chu left behind stirred excitement once more. It was true that the older generation could not intervene, but if the younger generation issued a challenge, that was a different matter.

Clearly, the Rao family would not let Ye Chu go after he killed their grandson. This city was likely to see another fierce struggle.

Ye Chu walked into an inn. The innkeeper was on the verge of tears. He dared not drive away this fierce deity, but if Ye Chu took over the place, the Rao family would surely tear it down when they arrived.

The innkeeper followed behind Ye Chu with a grimace, opening his mouth but daring not to utter a single word.

“Innkeeper…” the waiter also pulled a long face, reminding the boss. “Your life matters more!”

The innkeeper finally snapped out of it and shouted to the staff. “Quick! Get everyone out of here! Tell the guests the truth. Anyone who wants to leave should do so immediately.”

The fully booked inn quickly emptied out, leaving only Ye Chu behind.

Ye Chu sat drinking tea in the main hall. Sure enough, before long, a thunderous roar exploded. “Ye Chu, you brat, hand over your life to this king!”

Accompanying the roar, a massive force blasted downwards, suppressing the inn. The once beautiful building collapsed in an instant.

The innkeeper watched from afar, tears threatening to spill, feeling a deep ache for his lost property.

Ye Chu remained seated at his table. While everything around him crumbled, his immediate area remained untouched as he calmly drank his tea.

“Since you are here, why not sit down and have a drink!” Ye Chu smiled, looking in one direction. Three immense auras erupted from the distance, each powerful enough to stir the winds and clouds.

“Ye Chu, you brat, today you will pay with your life for my grandson!” The leading elder roared in fury, veins bulging on his forehead.

Ye Chu laughed, drank a cup of tea, and looked at the three men. “I have fought my way here, carrying a murderous aura I have nowhere to vent. If you are sensible, come down and drink tea with me, chat about life, and save us the trouble of bloodshed. I have always respected the old and cared for the young. Had it been anyone else acting like this, I would have already killed them.”

Ye Chu’s words only made them even more furious. Without another word, the elder struck directly at Ye Chu, aiming for vital points.

The attack landed exactly where Ye Chu had been sitting. The teacup and table shattered instantly, sending wood chips and splashing water flying.

Ye Chu’s figure had already moved away from the table, quietly standing to one side, facing the three men.

“Three elders arrive and immediately start fighting! This shop is not yours. After smashing it, should you not compensate the owner? In life, what matters most is being reasonable!” Ye Chu stared at them very seriously.

This sentence nearly brought the innkeeper watching from afar to tears. Master, if you cared about reason, you would never have stayed at my inn.

The three stared at Ye Chu. Seeing his cheeky grin, they found his face utterly detestable and glared at him, roaring. “No matter what you say today, you must pay for my grandson’s life!”

Ye Chu shook his head and sighed. “Although I am unwilling to fight you, it is because I am tired and wish to rest properly for a few days, not because I fear you. Along this road, this young master has also eliminated many. Do not think that having a bit of skill gives you the right to shout at me.”

“We will see when we try!” The three Rao elders roared. One of them unleashed his aura. The terrifying force erupted and crashed down, destroying the already collapsed inn completely in a second round of devastation.

This sight made many cultivators look at Ye Chu, waiting for him to make his move.

Ye Chu had fought his way here, leaving behind countless legends. So many that they made people’s hearts tremble. Along the way, Ye Chu had defeated many King realm experts. Yet now, facing him were three Kings.

The three Rao elders had stepped into the King realm many years ago. Though limited by talent and unable to break through further, their years of accumulation had made their power profound and thick, far surpassing ordinary Kings.

Ye Chu was formidable, but could he withstand these three renowned Kings?

The three Rao elders might not be the strongest in this city, but they certainly ranked in the top three among the major factions. If they joined forces, Ye Chu would likely fare poorly.

“You seek your own death!” Ye Chu swung his arm, releasing a terrifying force that blocked the incoming energy. He stared straight at the three men. “You have brought this upon yourselves. Since you wish to die, I will oblige you!”

As he spoke, Ye Chu’s arm transformed like a sword. Sword light gathered along his arm and shot directly at one of the elders.

Utilising the Instant Wind technique, his speed was lightning fast, fierce and sharp.

This strike made the eldest Rao brother’s face change drastically. He unleashed his inner power, shaping it into a giant dragon that coiled towards Ye Chu.

“Bang…”

The two forces collided. Ye Chu was forced back several steps, his blood surging violently. Yet the eldest Rao brother also retreated, his face showing a hint of shock.

“Such immense power!” Ye Chu had fought many Kings, but this was the first time he encountered power so thick and pure. He stared straight at the three men, his blood boiling once more.

He had originally thought they were not worth fighting, but three opponents this formidable were indeed worthy of a proper battle.

“Since we are fighting, then all of you attack together!”

Ye Chu’s voice resonated like a vast ocean, shaking outwards and causing pain to many eardrums.
