The young man was completely enraged. He swung the halberd in his hands, unleashing terrifying strikes. Each vibration aimed directly at the Golden Doll’s vital points.
The Golden Doll had clearly pushed him too far. He was fighting to kill, and as he swung his weapon, terrifying power shook the very clouds.
Waves of terrifying force swept outwards, surging from his body like a tide and causing ripples to form in the very fabric of space.
“What? Has your anger turned to shame? Well, you are the son of excrement, and you were raised on it too!” The Golden Doll laughed loudly, his mockery unceasing. Power that stirred the mind and soul condensed around him, pressing down to create a terrifying gale that swept straight towards the young man. It was overwhelmingly mighty, roaring endlessly like the sea.
Both men wielded peerless strength as they clashed in the void. The void rippled continuously under the impact. The lightning-fast halberd traced arcs through the air, shooting out at blinding speed. It seemed certain to tear the void apart and spawn terrifying black holes.
The Golden Doll blocked the strikes with gold ingots. The profound force of his counterattack carried its own ruthless and cunning momentum. As the two clashed, sparks flew continuously, their overwhelming strength leaving onlookers terrified.
The two fought relentlessly in the void. Descriptions of their clash were endless. As the halberd and gold ingots collided, immense force rolled outwards, tearing through space. Cracks splintered across the ground, and numerous buildings in the city collapsed.
This scene alarmed the entire city. Countless people fled outwards, daring not to approach the battlefield. Even so, some could not escape. With a miserable scream, blood sprayed everywhere as they were torn to shreds by the aftershocks.
Ye Chu, Ye Jingyun, and the others were equally shocked by their power. They retreated rapidly, bracing against the surging force that crashed towards them. The impact forced them back several steps, causing their blood and qi to churn.
This deeply shook Ye Chu and Ye Jingyun. If a stray gust of force affected them so severely, how terrifying must their full unleashed power be?
Mental realms clashed wildly in the void. Their battle seemed ready to demolish the entire city. Gravel flew everywhere, and as the turbulent force swept across the area, buildings kept collapsing while cracks continuously split the ground.
It was a terrifying sight. The two had truly ignited their fury. Their strikes were ruthless and sharp, yet they continued to trade insults. The young man cursed the Golden Doll as a penniless brat, while the Golden Doll roared back that his opponent was raised on filth.
Their battle intent burned fiercely. Explosive flashes occurred constantly, and force flew in every direction. Each clash was utterly terrifying.
A terrifying howl of wind swept outwards, pressing down so heavily that it felt as though eardrums would shatter. Profound power erupted, and wherever it struck, it produced earth-shattering sounds. When it hit the ground, it violently churned up several feet of soil, blotting out the sky.
It was an astonishing fight. The people within the city had never witnessed such a ferocious battle in their lives. Various forces continuously exploded and slashed downwards, terrifying enough to make one’s skin crawl.
The combat was too intense. Brilliant golden light flashed, and metal rang out with every collision. Terrifying ripples spread outwards, causing everyone’s hearts to pound as they retreated further and further away.
Both fighters bore dark bruises on their bodies, clearly bearing injuries. They were truly extraordinary. Despite unleashing mystical techniques constantly, they fought to a standstill, neither gaining a clear advantage.
Although the young man had several Kings following him, they were completely useless in such a clash.
The young man’s hair was dishevelled, stripping him of his former heroic bearing. The Golden Doll fared no better. He looked utterly bedraggled, and a layer of dust coated the gold ornaments on his body.
Both men sneered again, unleashing surging power. Immense force erupted, shooting directly at each other’s vital points. The energy within them gushed out like a tide. This was their ultimate strike. The terrifying power contained within collided fiercely.
“Bang…”
A thunderous explosion rang out. The immense force sent both men flying backwards, coughing up blood. The shockwave churned their blood and qi. They crashed into the city, collapsing several buildings with their destructive momentum before finally managing to stagger to their feet.
Golden light and force still raged violently in the void. The blinding brilliance left everyone in awe. They stared in horror at the massive black hole tearing open the void, swallowing hard.
The Golden Doll wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and slowly stepped forward. Looking at the pale young man, he chuckled. “Excrement worm! You are still not qualified to cross swords with this God of Wealth. How many times have you lost now?”
These words made Ye Chu glance at the Golden Doll in surprise. Could the Golden Doll have actually won? He looked towards the young man and saw his arms trembling, his body holding back a surge of energy. After the Golden Doll finished speaking, the young man spat out another mouthful of blood. The blood ignited in the void, and his aura grew noticeably weaker.
From this, it was clear that the Golden Doll had indeed won by a narrow margin.
“Do not get too cocky. The battle is not over yet. Who will win is still uncertain!” The young man gritted his teeth, staring dead at the Golden Doll. He had to admit that the fellow had improved greatly over the years. He had originally thought that after several years apart, he would be able to catch up. Yet his opponent had also transformed into something extraordinary. Moreover, some of his abilities did not come from his former family. Thinking of the Heartless Peak, his expression turned grim as he clenched his teeth. “Could that Old Madman truly be so powerful that he could train him to this extent?”
The young man had always considered himself invincible at his realm. The result, however, was cruel. In their recent clash, the Golden Doll had won by half a move. Though it was only a slight margin, for someone of his calibre, it counted as a complete defeat.
“Hmph! This God of Wealth cannot kill you, but you are certainly no match for me either. If you know what is good for you, take your people and go back to eating filth. Do not disturb this God of Wealth from bestowing blessings.” The Golden Doll sneered, his gaze shooting out razor-sharp light that was utterly terrifying.
“That is not for you to decide!” The young man sneered back, his tone distinctly hostile. Figures who had reached their level possessed their own mental realms. Every single one of them was stubborn and would not truly concede defeat just because of a few words.
Seeing the two stand off once more, ready to fight again, the crowd’s hearts pounded with terror. Their previous clash had already caused massive destruction. If they continued, the city would truly be reduced to ruins.
The Golden Doll naturally did not fear his opponent. He watched him coldly. Although the young man had improved greatly over the years, the Golden Doll was no slouch either. Of course, if they truly fought to the death, the result would undoubtedly be mutual destruction. The Golden Doll was not afraid of dying, but was the filth-raised fellow in front of him willing to throw his life away?
On this point, the Golden Doll possessed a fearless, forward-marching resolve. It was a courage the young man simply could not match.
“Know your place and scram! You should realise that continuing to fight serves no purpose!” The Golden Doll stared at him. He had no desire to waste time brawling. Given the chance, he could collect plenty of gold instead.
The young man suddenly laughed, staring at the Golden Doll. “Who says I have no means to kill you?”
The young man’s loud laughter made the Golden Doll’s heart skip a beat. A bad premonition rose within him.
