PDE Chapter 14

“What’s the matter with my father, esteemed alchemists?” In a residence in Yao City, a man with a deathly pale face lay on the bed. Standing beside the bed was a mature and alluring woman dressed in extremely tight-fitting clothes that accentuated her curvaceous figure. Every gesture she made was captivating, exuding an innate, effortless charm from deep within her bones. Her moist red lips resembled rose petals covered in morning mist, possessing curves of ultimate temptation. Yet her delicate, soft hands were clenched tightly, revealing the tension in her heart.

Several alchemists gazed at the seductive Bai Xuan before them, their eyes filled with unmistakable heat. This woman was far too alluring, radiating a lazy, coquettish charm straight from her very essence, glowing with the radiance of a newlywed young wife, enough to make anyone’s mouth water.

“Auntie! The way they’re looking at you is so strange!” Yao Yao stood beside Bai Xuan, tugging at her sleeve and speaking with the innocence of a child. These words made Bai Xuan’s face flush crimson, adding yet another layer of delicate charm.

Only then did the alchemists snap back to their senses and discreetly avert their gazes. The leader stepped forward and said, “Your esteemed father has been invaded by baleful qi, and it is no ordinary baleful qi. This is extremely troublesome!”

These words drained the colour from Bai Xuan’s face even further. Her body staggered back several steps, and she only steadied herself by grasping the edge of the bed. Bai Xuan naturally understood what baleful qi was: something that inflicted immense harm upon cultivators. Countless practitioners throughout the world had perished because of it. Once baleful qi entered the body and was not expelled in time, the outcome was almost always fatal.

Bai Xuan finally understood why her father had collapsed and fainted in front of her so soon after returning. Her elder sister and brother-in-law had already met untimely deaths. If even her father were to… then…

At these thoughts, mist gathered in Bai Xuan’s eyes. Her beautiful gaze turned red as she spoke in a pleading tone, “Alchemists, please save my father!”

“Although your father has been invaded by baleful qi, it is not entirely impossible to treat him!” A lewd glint flashed in the alchemist’s eyes as he subtly shifted his gaze away from Bai Xuan’s voluptuous form. “However, treating him would greatly damage our vital essence. This…”

“Alchemists, name whatever fee you require!” Bai Xuan said hurriedly.

“Damage to vital essence cannot be compensated with mere consultation fees!” The leader, Huang Yong’an, shook his head.

“Then what do the alchemists require?” Bai Xuan asked urgently. “As long as it is something I possess, alchemists may speak freely!”

“Hehe! Easy, easy! There is indeed something, but I fear you may not be willing to give it!” Huang Yong’an gave a sinister chuckle, his eyes roaming up and down Bai Xuan’s exquisite figure, burning with intensity.

By now Bai Xuan naturally understood exactly what the other party desired. Her already somewhat pale, peerlessly beautiful face turned even whiter.

“Miss is a clever woman! If you agree, your father may yet have a chance of survival. If you refuse, I’m afraid your father…” Huang Yong’an said with a sinister laugh. “Miss should decide for herself.”

“Get out! Get out!” Bai Xuan finally erupted in fury, glaring at Huang Yong’an and the other alchemists with blazing eyes.

“Very well! But let me make one thing clear: in the whole of Yao City, aside from me, few others can save your father from this baleful qi. If I do not treat him, I fear he will not last the night!” Huang Yong’an laughed wickedly, his gaze lewdly sweeping over Bai Xuan once more. This woman was an earthly treasure. To taste her fragrance, he would gladly lose a few years of life.

“Since Miss is willing to watch your father be devoured by baleful qi until death, then Huang will say no more! Farewell!” Huang Yong’an cupped his hands and made as if to leave.

“Wait!” Bai Xuan called out. Her body trembled, her expression pale. She glanced at her father, who lay on the bed barely breathing. After a long moment, she finally parted her lips, which resembled rose petals in thin mist, and said while biting them, “I agree!”

“Good! Excellent!” Huang Yong’an burst into loud laughter. The other alchemists beside him looked on with extreme envy. Staring at the peerless beauty before them, some greedily swallowed their saliva. Nevertheless, none of them dared to challenge Huang Yong’an.

“Since you have agreed, then come with me!” With that, Huang Yong’an reached out to grasp Bai Xuan’s soft, tender hand.

“What are you doing?” Bai Xuan reflexively stepped back several paces until she bumped against the bed’s edge, her voice and expression both stern.

“What? Are you going back on your word already!” Huang Yong’an snorted. “Once you have done what needs to be done, naturally I will save your father!”

These words caused Bai Xuan to steady herself. Her face turned ashen as death. She lowered her resistance and stood quietly, as though her very soul had been drained away.

“So be it,” Bai Xuan said with a bleak smile. For so many years, countless men had coveted her body. Moving among all sorts of men, she had long grown weary. In the past, her powerful father had protected her. Though many had eyed her hungrily, none had succeeded. But now her father lay in this state. If her body could save his life, then what did it matter if she gave it to them?

Seeing Bai Xuan stand motionless, Huang Yong’an nodded with great satisfaction. “That’s more like it! If you behave obediently, Huang will certainly preserve your father’s life!”

As he spoke, Huang Yong’an reached towards Bai Xuan’s hand once more. Faced with such a stunning woman, he was clearly impatient with lust, wanting to pull her into the adjacent room.

Watching the claw draw ever closer, about to touch her body, Bai Xuan’s face turned deathly pale. A dark cloud of despair settled over her heart. Her body trembled at the thought of being crushed beneath such an old, obese frame. She felt utter hopelessness, yet she could not refuse!

Huang Yong’an wore a triumphant smile. He had coveted this woman for a long time. In the past, her formidable father had stood in the way, forcing him to watch from afar. Who could have imagined heaven would deliver this opportunity to him!

Just as Huang Yong’an’s hand was about to reach her and Bai Xuan closed her eyes in resignation, a carefree voice suddenly rang out: “Hehe! Interesting! I never expected that coming here would let me witness such a fine display of coercion and temptation!”

This abrupt voice caused Huang Yong’an’s movement to freeze instantly. He turned his head and saw two young men walking in slowly, smiles on their faces, their gazes fixed upon the group.

“Why are you staring at me? Go on with your wickedness!” The newcomer was naturally Ye Chu. He had never imagined that the grave robber Pang Shao had mentioned would turn out to be the father of the alluring woman he had once rescued.

“Big brother!” Yao Yao, who had been saved from the water by Ye Chu, remembered him vividly. She broke into a brilliant childlike smile, ran to him, and hugged his leg.

“You little rascal still remember me!” Ye Chu was hugged by the child. Seeing that such a tiny girl still remembered him warmed his heart. He thought to himself that he truly was devastatingly handsome, charming both young and old alike. Even little girls could not forget him. Being this handsome was simply unfair, and he almost felt sorry for the men who had seen him and still had the courage to go on living!

“It’s you!” Bai Xuan saw that Huang Yong’an’s hand had stopped and could not help but breathe a sigh of relief. Yet upon seeing Ye Chu arrive, a trace of confusion arose in her heart. Why was he here?
