At the entrance to Starbucks a woman with slightly wavy long hair stretched out her arm and blocked the path of the three people.
To be precise she blocked Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua.
She was a woman who matched Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua in beauty, temperament and even style of dress.
At once every man and even every woman inside the entire Starbucks cast envious glances at Luo Chen.
It was simply unbelievable. Two beauties were not enough and now another one had appeared?
How did this lad have so many beautiful women around him?
Could he be some rich young master from a powerful family?
The woman had dyed her hair a silvery grey but it did not quite suit her temperament because she belonged to that extremely mature older-sister type.

“Little sisters, could you lend me some money? I will pay it back after I sort things out.” Jiang Tongran gave an elegant smile that carried a trace of helplessness.
“How much?” Chen Huahua asked.
“Ten thousand!” Jiang Tongran spoke with clear worry. It was obvious she had already asked several people and had probably been turned down each time so she felt rather uneasy after saying it.
“Sorry, we do not have that much cash on us.” Xia Xinxin gave a slight smile and refused.
Indeed the two of them did not carry that much cash. After all both came from wealthy families and when they went out they only brought a small amount of cash. Anything over a few thousand was normally paid by card.
Besides the two of them did not want to lend money to a stranger. Swindlers had grown smarter these days. Instead of operating at train stations they now wandered around airports.
Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua felt the other woman was probably a con artist.
Jiang Tongran looked slightly disappointed when she heard this. She had chosen to ask precisely because she saw that Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua dressed and carried themselves like rich people.
She had not expected them to refuse.
In truth she did need the money urgently. Her bank card had been left at home and she really had no cash with her now.
“Sorry to trouble you then.” Jiang Tongran gave an awkward smile, lowered her head in disappointment, turned around and prepared to leave.
Many people inside Starbucks had actually heard the conversation. Although quite a few of the men thought Jiang Tongran was very beautiful, once they heard she wanted to borrow money no one offered any.
Swindlers were everywhere in society these days and this was an airport. There was no guarantee the person would not take the money and immediately board a flight and disappear. It was better not to play the good Samaritan.
Jiang Tongran knew this too so she did not press the matter. She simply felt a bit disappointed. She really did need that ten thousand urgently.
Otherwise the opportunity would be gone and it would be too late.
“Wait.” A voice suddenly stopped Jiang Tongran.
Jiang Tongran turned back with some confusion while Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua heard the words and their expressions changed at once.
Because the person who had spoken was none other than Luo Chen.
At once many people inside Starbucks also turned curious gazes towards Luo Chen.
“You want to borrow ten thousand?” Luo Chen asked.
Jiang Tongran nodded. In fact she had not planned to ask Luo Chen at the start because he did not look like someone with money.
“I need cash!” Jiang Tongran smiled again.
“We do not have cash.” Xia Xinxin quickly shot Luo Chen a look, signalling him not to speak further.
But Luo Chen completely ignored Xia Xinxin’s glance. He opened his bag, took out the ten thousand that his father had wrapped in newspaper and handed it to Jiang Tongran.
“If it is not enough I have another ten thousand here.” Luo Chen took out another packet.
Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua standing beside him felt a mixture of emotions and were almost exploding with anger.
There were three reasons. First, what era was this? When going out he actually carried so much cash and if he must carry it he wrapped it in newspaper. Did he not feel embarrassed?

Second, why was Luo Chen lending money to her?

“I will leave you my number. I will repay the money.” Jiang Tongran said those words.
Luo Chen hesitated for a moment then gave Jiang Tongran his phone number.
Jiang Tongran waved her hand, took the money and left.
Xia Xinxin was completely speechless. What kind of extreme idiot had she encountered?
Such a clumsy swindle and someone had actually fallen for it?
It was not that the swindle was too clever but that Luo Chen was simply too stupid.
“It seems you were not lying. You really have just come out of school.” Chen Huahua said in a sarcastic tone beside them.
Many people inside Starbucks also looked at Luo Chen as if he were an idiot.
This guy was either blinded by lust or genuinely foolish.

Xia Xinxin did not stop Jiang Tongran from leaving. After all it was not her money. Letting Luo Chen suffer a loss and learn a lesson was a good thing.
Although Luo Chen had noticed the contempt from Xia Xinxin and Chen Huahua he did not explain.
But after this incident Xia Xinxin looked down on Luo Chen even more.
She even felt he might not even qualify to be her friend.
As they walked out of the airport a Bentley slowly approached. A tall, handsome man with great presence stepped out of the car.
Xia Xinxin looked at Luo Chen then at her own driver. Luo Chen could not compare to a rich young master, and he could not even compare to her driver. Apart from looks at least her driver would not be so stupid.
