“It is the truth.” Zhang Su’er muttered unhappily but seeing Su Rong glaring at her she waved her hands as if begging for mercy. “Fine fine. I will not say it.”
Ye Chu did not know what riddle they were playing. He did not want to ask either. He only wanted to enter the tower and check whether the base of this tower was the destination he was looking for.
Ye Chu stepped into the tower. He originally wanted to go to the bottom. But Liang Shan somehow popped out and walked in front of Ye Chu. He said in an exaggerated manner “You really came back to Yao City? I thought a few people were talking nonsense.”
After speaking Liang Shan looked at Su Rong beside Ye Chu and smiled slyly. He lowered his voice by Ye Chu’s ear and said “What? Still cannot forget her?”
Ye Chu rolled his eyes and did not explain.
Liang Shan saw Su Rong and Zhang Su’er’s gazes turn to him. He pulled Ye Chu aside and said “You really have not given up your evil intentions. But this time you might encounter a strong rival. A young talent called Zhang Peng has come to the top floor. Rumour has it he is the young master of a great family. His strength has already reached the origin spirit realm. He is very terrifying. Even the king treats him politely. But this fellow seems to have taken a fancy to Su Rong. Recently he has been pursuing Su Rong and even the king approves of his actions. It looks like he intends to betroth Su Rong to him.”
Ye Chu suddenly understood. He finally realised why Zhang Su’er had been hesitant to speak earlier.
“Has Su Rong agreed?” Ye Chu asked curiously.
“Who knows what Su Rong is thinking. She has been refusing all along so the king has not made a decision yet. Hehe do you think this girl has fallen for you? Otherwise why would she not agree to him? From character or strength the other party is not bad at all.” Liang Shan smiled slyly. He could not help looking at Su Rong gazing at her graceful figure. He thought this woman had long legs a perky bottom full breasts and fair skin. From any angle she was top quality.
Ye Chu knocked on Liang Shan’s head and said “Put away that lecherous look of yours. Also this young master has returned to Yao City not to fight over a woman.”
“Who would believe that?” Liang Shan scoffed. He thought am I a fool? Coming back to Yao City and heading straight here to see Su Rong if that is not being unable to forget her what is it?
“What a pity. Back then Su Rong rejected you. Otherwise it would have boosted our face so much. It would have been a complete underdog turnaround.” Liang Shan sighed.
Ye Chu kicked him making Liang Shan cry out in pain. He thought this guy could not use better words. He was now so upright and outstanding. The word underdog was far from him.
Liang Shan saw Su Rong and Zhang Su’er looking over. He endured the pain smiled at the two women then gritted his teeth and said to Ye Chu “Did you have to kick so hard?”
Ye Chu ignored Liang Shan’s anger. He took out a piece of profound stone from his bosom and handed it to Liang Shan. He said “With your talent this thing is enough for you to reach the innate realm.”
