PDE Chapter 250

“I do not know, Senior!” Ye Chu knew that he could not touch that long sword. It concerned the secret of Wuxin Peak. This secret was definitely not as simple as just a supreme’s will, but the old madman never spoke of it. Ye Chu did not want to ask either. Because Ye Chu knew this secret must be connected to the very existence of Wuxin Peak. Perhaps it carried great trouble and heavy responsibility. Since the old madman had no intention of letting Ye Chu bear it, Ye Chu was happy to play ignorant.

But he never expected that Hu Kuangshan would actually say “the secret of the Emotion Domain”. What a joke. Could it be that this supreme’s will was somehow linked to the entire domain?

After staring at Ye Chu for a while, Hu Kuangshan suddenly said to him, “Come with me!”

Ye Chu felt puzzled and was still wondering whether to follow Hu Kuangshan when the latter waved his arm. Ye Chu and he vanished from the space at the same time, leaving Ji Die, Ye Jingyun, and the others looking at each other in bewilderment.

“Does Ye Chu have some extraordinary background? To actually attract such a person’s attention, and even carry the aura of someone like that? Could Ye Chu have found an incredibly powerful master?” Ye Jingyun asked Tan Miaotong. She thought that if that were true, it would be absurd. With Ye Chu’s talent, could he really find an incredibly powerful master?

Ji Die also looked toward Tan Miaotong because of Ye Jingyun’s words. She felt curious about Ye Chu’s origins. Ye Chu’s behaviour had indeed been mysterious. All sorts of signs told them that Ye Chu’s background was not simple.

Tan Miaotong shook her head. “I do not know either. I only heard Qing Wenting say that he comes from some mountain. I did not pay much attention at the time and forgot about it. But what I do know is that Wenting was very interested in that place. She often pestered Ye Chu to take her there to play. Yet Ye Chu always refused.”

“What is Qing Wenting’s status? For a place she wants to go, does she still need to pester Ye Chu? As long as she reports her name, few places would dare refuse her entry.” Ye Jingyun felt even more puzzled. She thought that with Qing Wenting’s identity, what place would still require her to beg Ye Chu to guide her?

“I do not know the details. But clearly Wenting cannot go up that mountain. Even with her status as a saintess, she cannot! Because of this, Wenting has scolded Ye Chu many times.” Tan Miaotong also felt confused.

Ji Die and Ye Jingyun exchanged a glance. Both saw the astonishment in each other’s eyes. They wondered what kind of place it was that even a saintess like Qing Wenting could not enter.

“You come from Wuxin Peak, right!” Hu Kuangshan brought Ye Chu to a certain place. This seemed to be the back mountain. Behind them stood a massive stone wall with spring water flowing down from it. Of course, these waters were not what caught Ye Chu’s attention. What shocked Ye Chu was that on this huge stone wall there was a statue. The statue depicted a middle-aged man, handsome and extraordinary, carrying an indescribable aura. Yet the longer one looked, the more a sense of sorrow and desolation emerged. Clearly this statue on the stone wall contained an intent within it.

“Senior has sharp eyes!” Ye Chu nodded toward Hu Kuangshan, indicating that he indeed came from Wuxin Peak.

“Is the peak master of Wuxin Peak in this generation still that madman?” Hu Kuangshan suddenly asked.

Ye Chu was not sure if it was an illusion, but he clearly saw Hu Kuangshan shiver slightly when he spoke those words.

“He is precisely my master!”

Ye Chu’s words made Hu Kuangshan size him up from head to toe. The look in his eyes made Ye Chu’s skin crawl.

“That madman has occupied Wuxin Peak for who knows how many years. He has never once left. In recent years there have even been rumours that only madmen can ascend that mountain, and the entire mountain is filled with madmen.” Hu Kuangshan said. “I just do not know, young friend…”

Ye Chu really wanted to kick this guy to death. He wondered where this fellow got his information from. You are the mad one. Your whole Fox Mountain is mad. This young master is clearly very normal. Where am I mad? If anyone is mad, it is only those few like Ou Yi.

Considering the other’s strength, Ye Chu held back the urge to curse loudly. He also did not respond to Hu Kuangshan’s words. Ye Chu felt it was necessary to pass this remark on to the old madman later. He thought that if a few of them wanted to be mad, fine, but do not ruin his reputation too.

Ye Chu decided that in the future he should spend less time around Ou Yi and the others. Otherwise people might think that one who stays near ink becomes black!

“Throughout the generations of Wuxin Peak, only your generation has accomplished the least.” Hu Kuangshan said. “That madman occupies Wuxin Peak and just leaves it cold and unused. Others cannot touch it or even think about it. He himself does not care either. What a waste!”

“I think it is quite good!” Ye Chu did not know what secret Wuxin Peak held, but he felt that the old madman was doing the right thing. At least it granted freedom.

Hu Kuangshan smiled and said no more. He pointed at the huge statue and said to Ye Chu, “Do you know who this person is?”

“You are not going to tell me this is the supreme who fell at Wuxin Peak back then, are you?” From the moment Ye Chu sensed that sorrowful aura, he had already guessed this possibility.

“Correct! It is precisely him! The Emotion Domain was named because of him. He left behind an unparalleled mystery in the Emotion Domain.” Hu Kuangshan said. “This can also be considered one of the secrets of your Wuxin Peak.”

“May I ask what Senior means?” Ye Chu asked in confusion.

“The aura you carry is from that supreme sword of Wuxin Peak, right.” Hu Kuangshan asked Ye Chu. “I really did not expect that there would still be someone in this world who dared to touch that sword. As expected, people from Wuxin Peak are madmen. Now this old man roughly understands where your madness lies.”

Ye Chu took a deep breath and tried hard not to lose control. He really wanted to roar, “This old man is very normal!”

“Senior, in truth there really are people in this world who emerge from the mud unstained. For example, the one standing right beside you.” Ye Chu subtly reminded him.

“Is there? Is there anyone else beside me?” Hu Kuangshan looked puzzled.

Then he added, “Use your hand to touch this statue and feel it!”

Ye Chu frowned but still reached out toward the statue. When Ye Chu’s hand touched the statue, he felt the sorrowful aura spread throughout his entire body. Tears streamed down his face uncontrollably.

“Ah…”

Ye Chu roared. His whole being turned wild with grief. His fists smashed forward fiercely. His movements were extremely swift. His strength erupted to the limit. Punch after punch landed on the statue. He fell into complete madness. His heart was filled with unvented sorrow and pain. It was as if he wanted to release everything within himself.

Ye Chu punched again and again. The statue suffered not the slightest damage. Yet Ye Chu’s fists became mangled and bloody. The pain did not stop him at all.

Ye Chu continued to smash outward as if venting his emotions.

Ye Chu’s frenzied state did not prompt Hu Kuangshan to intervene. He watched calmly ahead, observing Ye Chu go berserk, observing Ye Chu lose his mind and unleash his power in a frenzy.

He simply stood there quietly. No one knew what he was thinking. Blood flowed from Ye Chu’s fists, dripping into the spring water and flowing down along with it, tinged with faint red.

The entire space was filled with an atmosphere of wild grief and bleak desolation.
